Genealogy allows those still living to realize who our ancestors were. They become so very real to us as we search. The most exciting moments are when we find a picture or them and look for our face in theirs. Or , we are fortunate enough to find a story about how they were stuburn or very friendly or honery. They seem to come alive for us in such a real way. We find that we have so much in common with so many of our past family members. Genealogy is never a waste of time.
