We discovered an interesting record in the recently added Georgia Deaths, 1917–1928 collection on MyHeritage for Juliette Magill Low, the visionary founder of the Girl Scouts of the U.S., who passed away on January 17, 1927, in Savannah, Chatham, Georgia, United States.

Juliette established the Girl Scouts in 1912 with the mission of empowering young girls through character-building, practical skills, and community service. Despite facing numerous personal and societal challenges, she built an inclusive organization that has impacted millions of girls worldwide, fostering courage, confidence, and leadership.
