NEW! Research on-the-go with newly updated MyHeritage Mobile App
- By Aaron
Introducing the latest version of the MyHeritage app! With version 1.2, you can search billion of records on-the-go, including ALL images from the 1940 U.S. Federal Census and our constantly updated searchable index.
The mobile-friendly interface makes it easy to browse records on iPhone, iPad and Android devices, including birth, marriage, military, immigration, government, death, census and other historical records from around the world.
Start exploring now, even if you are not yet a MyHeritage user (note that to access some content, you will need to sign up/log in and purchase a data subscription plan). Some collections such as the 1940 US census are free for all users. If you don’t have the MyHeritage app yet, download it from the App Store or Google Play (formerly known as Android Market). Open the app, tap “Research” on the main menu, use the search form and let the exploring begin. Yes, it’s that easy!
We also wanted to thank you for all your wonderful feedback on the previous version of the app, which has been downloaded more than 500,000 times! We’re already working hard on version 2.0, which will include the ability to edit your family tree and add new family members straight from your mobile device. Stay tuned for updates!
Download the MyHeritage app for free from App Store or Google Play and explore your family history, wherever you are.
Happy holidays,
The MyHeritage team

QUESTION ONLY: IS 1940 THE ONLY CENSUS MADE AVAILABLE ON PHONE APPS?
