Backstreet’s Back!

We’re excited to announce a new partnership with the Backstreet Boys! The band was formed over 25 years ago — They’ve been together for so long that they’re practically family!

Each band member took a MyHeritage DNA test to learn more about their origins, and they are eagerly awaiting their results. This video follows AJ, Howie, Nick, Kevin, and Brian as they open their MyHeritage DNA kits and swab their cheeks:

Well, considering Brian and Kevin are cousins, they’ll have a pretty good baseline for cross-referencing. It will be interesting to see the others. I’ve loved BSB since I was a child, so this is exciting! Will there be a follow-up video with the results?

Most interesting, I would love to know where my roots begin. I found my mother 50 years after I was told she died in the world war two – I spent time with her after my father’s passing. Looking at my father’s birth certificate it says “father unknown” so I apparently have my grandmother’s maiden name, so in fact I am not really a Porter !
