MyHeritage DNA Featured on “The Real” Talk show

Just in time for Thanksgiving, co-hosts of the American syndicated talk show, “The Real,” received their MyHeritage DNA results on air. Presenters Adrienne Houghton, Loni Love, and Jeannie Mai were wowed by their surprising results.

They took simple cheek swab tests at home, and just received their MyHeritage DNA results to discover their ethnic origins, and find new relatives from around the world.

Watch their reactions here:

Jeannie’s ethnic breakdown

Jeannie was the first to receive her ethnicity breakdown:
She was amazed to have DNA Matches spanning the world, from the United States to Australia, Europe, and Asia.

Loni Love

The cast was shocked to learn of Loni’s British ethnic origins, as well as over 50 DNA Matches located in Great Britain today! Her Latin American roots were another big surprise.

Adrienne Houghton

Adrienne received a whopping 5,000 DNA Matches from her DNA test! Researchers at MyHeritage also searched through SuperSearch™, which includes over 9 billion historical records, and found Adrienne’s mother Nilda’s high school yearbook photo in our Yearbooks collection.

We also discovered Adrienne’s great-grandfather, Evaristo Alicea Rodriguez’s WWI draft registration. In it, he described his family, something that felt unreal to Adrienne.

Even after starring on the show together for the past five years, finding out more about their family histories brought the co-hosts even closer together.

Blessings to The Real. Im in tears because I don’t know much about my mother side of the family. She has passed away for some yes now. I woke up this morning with a desire to find a free website that would help me. I was on this very website that was on your show this morning. I said omg that’s the same on. I haven’t had any luck yet. PLEASE HELP ME TO FIND WHO MY MOTHER WAS? She told me many yrs ago that she her father was from England n her mother was Indian. My mother’s eyes were sometimes grey n green depends on her mood or time of day.HELP!
