*By submitting your advice (using any digital means) you irrevocably grant MyHeritage all necessary rights and consents for the full period of copyright to use any text you submit for any purposes connected with the Competition including without limitation the ability for MyHeritage to publish and transmit the text on web sites owned or controlled by it.
By submitting your advice, you agree and confirm that it does not infringe the copyright or any other rights of any third party. If you include anyone else’s material in your advice, you must have obtained their permission to do so. If you don’t, you will be infringing the copyright in the material. This includes material downloaded or copied from a website.
Winners will be notified using their original mode of entry and we will make every practicable effort to contact them. MyHeritage accepts no responsibility for the misuse of intellectual property rights, or any other expenses (including the payment of royalties) that may arise in relation to your submission.
For example, if an entry has been made on the MyHeritage Facebook.com page, then we will attempt to send a message to the prize-winner. It is your responsibility to keep said methods of communication open, as it may be the only available means of communication. This competition is open to submissions from around the world, regardless of country.
MyHeritage will not enter into any correspondence regarding the outcome of the competition (excluding competition winners).
You may be held legally accountable for your submission if you are in breach of the terms listed above.
MyHeritage reserves the right to review and revise these rules from time to time without giving you prior notice. By entering the MyHeritage Best Piece of Genealogy Advice Competition, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
