The MyHeritage team returned from three intensive days at the Who Do You Think You Are Live 2013 show in London’s Olympia. We enjoyed greeting so many visitors at our booth.
Our team included Chief Genealogist Daniel Horowitz, Head of Genealogy (UK) Laurence Harris, Chief Content Officer Russ Wilding, Netherlands Community Manager Denie Kasan, Scandinavian Community Manager Sara Silander, German Community Manager Karen Brandel Hägele and Marketing Manager Aaron Godfrey.
Both old friends and new shared fascinating stories of their ancestors and their own family history research experiences.
We enjoyed meeting so many new friends who subscribed at the event and became part of the MyHeritage family network, as well as existing members who dropped by to say hello.
Our expert genealogy team gave presentations and workshops to assist those advancing their family research:
- MyHeritage Chief Genealogist Daniel Horowitz provided advice on how to get started in family research in his presentation, “Basic Steps for Genealogy Research – How Can I Start My Family Tree,” on Saturday.
- On Sunday, Laurence Harris, MyHeritage’s Head of Genealogy (UK) gave tips on finding Jewish family members in his presentation, “My Ancestor was Jewish – Tips for Tracing Jewish Ancestors.”
Thank you to everyone who visited our booth, including members, geneblogger friends, organization friends and genealogy associations.
Here are some photos from the show. We look forward to greeting you again next year.
