I am inspired! I was born and raised in South Africa and now living in the US for the past 13 years. Being away from my family and missing them so much made me eager to research my roots. A thought I have had for many years, but never had time to do anything about it. Only in recent years during my visits to South Africa I started asking questions and ask for pictures. Over the years I realized more and more that family members (especially older family members) are passing away and they are taking valuable memories and knowledge with them. I am very excited to unravel our family history. I am hoping I am not the only traveler in my family. Hoping for a surprise and secrets to be revealed!
