Being a newbi in this field and able to spend most of my time on this endever (I am retired) and able to bring my 80 years knowledge to the family tree, I have been able to work on both of these sites with great satisfaction. I feel they complement each other very well but I also wish we could just combine the two trees into one, that would save a great deal of work.
Congradulation to both of you it is a good match.
Please give my best wishes to Justan B.

This is a very exciting development! Congrats! I am also a subscriber and fan of both sites, mostly because I started on MyHeritage and invited lots of family members to join, and then discovered a whole other branch of the family on Geni. It was impossible to move so many people from either group so I stayed on both. I think it would be great if in the future you would allow loyal customers like us to merge our trees. It would bring our families together, facilitate our work and decrease our expenses.

Will a Geni paid person who merged with person who started the free tree still manage part of the free tree that connects or will the person who put the info on tree be able to once again manage & correct wrong place of birth of own direct relative which they have been unable to do?
