Family: To whom would you like to be related?

Albert Einstein

Albert Einstein

It's fun asking people to whom they'd like to be related. Many people answer with a celebrity's name or someone they admire.

I asked our MyHeritage colleagues this question. Their replies included Anne Frank, French resistance fighter Jean Moulin and Albert Einstein.

To whom would you like to be related? Tell us why in the comments below.

  1. I would let to be related to Margo.and I am
  2. I would like to be related to Thomas Jefferson because he was a man who understood the meaning of freedom. Who wouldn't want to be associated with the great American who wrote the Declaration of Independence? But then, a brother of one of my ancestors signed the Declaration of Independence - so I'm happy with that!
  3. I would like to be related to George Carlin - philosopher disguised as a stand-up comic. he was brilliant. actually, I'd love if he could be my Grandpa :)
  4. i know i am ralated to the mcarurthers hannibal hawkins mcarthur was my great great great grand father i have proof of that my fathers mother was marion mcarthur until she married my grand father John Boxall
  5. Suprisingly enough my tree points to a lot of famous persons; 18 US presidents, American colonial gov's of Virginia, All royals of England, High Kings of Ire, the list just goes on and on. My strong beleif is that anyone that is not a direct relative/ancestor is definitely my cousin no mater how distant or country of residence. It's Hard to find a person with 25 generations ancestry that I cannot match as a cousin. So when a stranger used the slang"whats up Cuz", I have no doubt they realy are my cousin. I'm just waiting for my FT-DNA to prove you are my cousins. lol
