FGS 2012: Looking forward to seeing you!

We love genealogy conferences. We meet old friends, make new ones and learn about all the newest developments in the field.

The Federation of Genealogical Societies (FGS) annual conference begins Wednesday, August 28, in Birmingham, Alabama.

Thousands of attendees will be able to extend their personal research with what they learn at the hundreds of sessions presented by some of the best speakers in the genealogy world.

MyHeritage will be at Booth 715

We invite everyone to stop by and say hello, to ask questions, to learn about new features, new technology and our new family history content.

Conference Tips

It's all about the apps.

Be sure to take your family tree to all your sessions. Download the MyHeritage app for iOS or Android so you can access your family tree on the go.

The new FGS Conference App is also a must-have! Eliminate printouts, paper shuffling and go hi-tech with the FGS Guidebook App for the event. You'll never go back to a printed paper schedule again after you see this app

Download the Guidebook - once installed, simply search FGS within the app.

Pack Light, Pack Right!

Read these FGS posts to make sure you bring everything you'll need to fully enjoy this great event.  Part I Part II Part III Part IV Dick Eastman's post reminds attendees of must-haves for the event.

Can't make it to Birmingham?

You can still be part of the action virtually! Join in the fun and knowledge - from wherever you are -  via social media for all the latest news and announcements. Follow @MyHeritage and hash tag #FGS2012 on twitter.

We look forward to greeting you in Birmingham!
