[Survey] Who have you found in the 1940 US Census?

Many users have shared their 1940 Census discoveries and we are happy to be part of this historical moment. We wrote about the celebrity discoveries we made. We want to know whom you've found in the census? (You can see all census images at www.myheritage.com/1940census.)

How did you feel when you found that record? Do you have an interesting story about that person? Let us kinow in the comments section below.

  1. I found one street with my grandparents, aunts, uncles, my Mom (age 4) and my great aunt and her husband. My uncle was fifteen and was later in WWII, which I thought was interesting. Have to wait for the indexes to find another cousin because he was in the CCC and could be anywhere! (He wasn't listed at home!)
  2. Would like to see more information re Irish ancestry to enable me to trace family roots from Ireland to USA
  3. As I have no family in the USA, How do I hide this from my screen!
