I don't do resolutions since they never seem to work out that well for me. However, I do sit down every year and make a list of genealogy goals to accomplish. Each month, I take a little bit from my master list and make it a monthly goal.

A few of the list of genealogy goals for this coming year are to research in an archives, write a book on doing genealogy on a budget, attend at least one genealogy conference and read at least one genealogy-related book per month.

15 different goals at one time! You've convinced me to sit down and list my new year's (genealogy) goals with a plan on what to do to achieve those goals.
In the past I've found making a list helps me realize what I want to do is very manageable. I didn't realize this until I wrote it out.
Thank you for the article!

I want to know what to make with you when somebody not authorized places my name and of my children in a family tree that will be public in the net through your site. Do you think is enough to write (Private) followed of the last name? Any one who makes the register in cadastre will have access to all the names? Any one who knows a bit of my family, will know of us. I want everything was not authorized out of your site.
