When my aunt wanted to talk about our family history I wasn't ready to listen . Now that I'm curious and full of questions my dear aunt at 92 years old is no longer willing to talk. What a shame if we lose the opportunity to learn from her , our last remaining elder , about our close family members . My advice to all family history researchers is to listen and ask before it's too late .

Thank you for what you do and who you are. I was raised up with primarily older people. Today, I am entering into that age group. I was always fascinated my their wisdom and ability to accept what is. My only desire is to share my stories and hope that others will listen. Learning through life experience is the best teacher that I have ever had.

Dear Dr. Pillemer:

Thank you so much for your comment ... and for your research!

I'd really like to see the list of the 10 questions! Our readers might find that very interesting.

with best wishes

Thanks so much for sharing information about the Legacy Project, and about "30 Lessons for Living!" We hope that people will consider using the holidays to gather their own elders' life wisdom. Good luck in those conversations!
