Anything new that rtnseeps a learning curve can be difficult. I've used Ancestry for about a decade now. I haven't noticed the problems you cite. But Ancestry has been the best single source of official documents I've been able to find, i.e., Census records. Of course I'm in the United States. I see you must be in New Zealand. So, I can't really relate to what you are encountering. None of my family has, to my knowledge, any roots in New Zealand. Good luck. Thanks for the comment Toni.
