Families Around the World – Apr 6, 2011

In this series we look at some of the more interesting family stories from around the world over the past 7 days.

This week we're going to do something a little different and look at what's happening in the lives, and families, of well-known people from around the world

To kick things off we have the story of Australian country music superstar, Keith Urban, who is married to another Australian, actress Nicole Kidman.

In a recent interview, Urban explained how important family is to both he and Kidman. A great story of keeping your priorities right no matter how famous you become.

HARRY POTTER FINALE SHOT 4 DIFFERENT ENDINGS FOR MALFOY FAMILY

While Harry Potter isn't technically set in our world, his story is certainly popular here, which means he gets an inclusion this week.

In this interview we read about the interesting way the directors managed to hide the real ending from the actors who play the Malfoy family in the film.

For those of them who grew up playing their Harry Potter characters it must be sad, either way, to be saying good bye to their onscreen family and friends.

ASHLEY JUDD DETAILS ‘BITTER AND SWEET’ IN HER NEW MEMOIRS

Ashley Judd, one of the amazing women that have gone on to be such successful entertainers form the Judd family, has released her memoirs, which cover off the good and the bad of what it was like to grow up in her family.

While some of the bad bits are disturbing to hear, it's great that entertainers feel comfortable enough to speak out about issues that affect so many other people.

MICHAEL BUBLE GETS MARRIED IN ARGENTINA

Hearts are breaking around the world today as Canadian crooner, Michael Buble, married his girlfriend in a civil ceremony in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Here's hoping they'll start a family of little crooners soon!

PAUL BOCUSE NAMED "CHEF OF THE CENTURY" - SON FOLLOWS IN HIS FOOTSTEPS

French culinary superstar Paul Bocuse has been named "Chef of the Century" by a top American culinary school.

This piece on the award also goes into how his son, Jerome, is following in his footsteps and what that's like for him.
