Come Say Hi at the Who Do You Think You Are Conference

As we mentioned previously, this weekend we're going to be at the Who Do You Think You Are: Live event at Kensington Olympia, London. This is one of the biggest genealogy events worldwide, and one that's accessible to genealogy beginners and enthusiasts alike.

If you are going to the conference, this is your chance to meet us and ask any questions you have about the site or family history in general. We'll also be running a couple of prize draws, giving specialist talks and seminars on aspects of family history, and a whole lot more.

If you're not going to the event, you can still keep an eye out for us online. We're going to be updating our Twitter feed and Facebook page with news and images as the event progresses.

So keep an eye out. Hopefully you'll see us - either in person or virtually - over the next few days.

  1. Good idea, but I am only a beginner, so it's over my head, good luck with it.

  3. How do I change the details on my website? You have given me a wife , and also my husband's parents and birthplace, on the introductory page! I have also just changed my E-mail address, so who do I contact to make all these changes?
  4. Hi Pamela,

You should be able to change any details in your tree fairly easily on the site. Go into your tree ('Family Tree' > 'Tree'), click an entry, select 'Options' on the left-hand display and remove, edit, or add whatever you choose.

You can edit also on the profiles page ('Family Tree' > 'People' > choose individual).

You can change your own email address by going on your account ('My Profile' > 'My Contact Information').

Any other problems, feel free to get in touch with support via the help page at the bottom.
