This week's clip comes from the Oral History Video Archive, a collection of videos compiled by students at Rowan University, New Jersey. It provides an insight into the lives of just a handful of Italian-American immigrants during the 20th Century - their experiences upon arrival to America, and while coming to grips with a new culture and society.
The video archive as a whole is well worth exploring, and contains many similar videos on American immigrants from Denmark, Japan, Ireland, as well as oral history videos on relatives with disabilities, and a variety of other topics. They give you an idea on the sorts of questions that can be worth asking your relatives, and if nothing else provide interesting viewing.
This particular video is divided into two parts. We hope you enjoy it!
