Holiday Traditions: Christmas Dinner with an International Touch
Christmastime is all about family. And what better way to bring the family together than with a beautiful feast. With some recipes passed down for over 5 generations, each family meal tells a bit of your family story.
This year, we're inspired by dishes that bring an international touch to the Holiday table--be it Mexican, Italian or Polish influences. There's something so beautiful in seeing these colorful meals tell a story -- of a son's marriage to someone of another culture, or of a grandparent's memory of eating a special dish around the holidays. To celebrate all the wonderful culinary traditions that make each family unique, we've put together a few of our favorite Holiday recipes.
From Mexico: Chocolate Caliente
From Poland: Mazurkas
From the UK: Star-topped Mince Pies
From Italy: Florentines
From Australia: Pistachio Melbas
Happy Feasting! And please share your own holiday recipes in the comments!
