Found: A Map of My Street from 1868!

Have you ever wondered what your neighborhood looked like, say 100 years ago? With its historical digital map database, Historic Map Works gives you the tools to search through all kinds of historic maps and atlases. You can browse through Nautical Charts, Wall Maps, Town or City Map, or Bird's Eye Views, just to name a few.

While it takes some time to navigate the map overlays and Google maps, it was a lot of fun to see my old neighborhood described as "splendid, first-class" and "handsome" residences.

Good luck with your research! And feel free to share any of your discoveries with us!
