MyHeritage.com at the Imperial War Museum

This weekend MyHeritage.com sponsored the Imperial War Museum’s Family History Day, an an event to explore our personal roots with a focus on family history from the Blitz.

The event was fantastic, with experts giving talks, evaluating people’s family heirlooms and documents, and with stalls on veteran family history, digitization of historical newspapers, and more – all set against the backdrop of the museum’s excellent displays and exhibitions.

MyHeritage.com were at the entrance to the museum, handing out free CDs and answering questions for those who had them. It was a fantastic chance to meet several genealogists and also many who hadn’t yet started on their family history journey, but were thinking about taking the plunge.

A big thanks to all those who attended and to the Imperial War Museum for hosting the event. You can find out more about the Museum in general on its website, here.
