A YouTube Time Machine?

We’ve talked before about the online ‘time machine’. This tool is great for general websites, but offered nothing for the video-inclined in particular.

Well now we’ve found another neat site: the YouTube Time Machine. It’s still in an alpha version, but it’s already a lot of fun.

You can select a specific year to visit, and then choose to view television shows, music, commercials, sports, or all of the above.

The site’s well worth spending a few minutes to have a play around with. By flicking through the old footage, you can get a small glimpse into how life was for the family several decades ago. You can reach the site here.
