Video & Document Tagging

Happy 2010 again! We wanted to let you in on a few new features that will help you organize, identify, and expedite your documentation of media.

Your MyHeritage.com family site now allows you to tag your videos and documents.

Just like tagging your photos, you can ascribe family members names to any of your videos and documents uploaded to the site. Simply click the "Add Person" button to the right of the media, and type in the family members name.

If you are watching a video, the feature will automatically pause the playback of the video so you won't miss any of it. All tagged medias will be neatly sorted, so if you want to see the pictures, videos, or genealogical documents tagged to uncle Richard, you can immediately access all this information from his personal media folder located under your photo albums.

To help speed up the tagging process, MyHeritage.com's new double-click feature allows you to quickly tag family members. Just hover your tooltip over a face in any picture, double-click, and name.
