It was so nice to hear the many wonderful stories about Evergreens Cemetery.
The place most assuredly deserves attention and it helps having the passionate voices of Mr. Rousmaniere and Mr. Schwartz.

Thanks for the nice comment about this lovely place. I’m proud that my book about it has attracted so much attention to the Evergreens.

I’ll give an illustrated talk about the Evergreens and other New York cemeteries on December 9th at 6:30 at the Mid-Manhattan Library. 455 Fifth Avenue. The talk begins at 6:30.

Mr. Schwartz’s incredible knowledge of all facets of NYC life transecends Evergreens cemetary. There is virtually no aspect of NYC life that he does not have a historical grasp over. He is a true and rare expert on the field.
