I noticed that my aunt who we recently lost, had all her research records on here. To merge files I realize you have to go upgrade to Premium but what I need to know using that feature do you have to get permission for the person who's site it is on in order to merge? Or will I be able to get my aunts records with just merging the files? Thank you I recenty downloaded Family Tree Builder and am doing the family tree on both sides for my children. The SmartMatch and Merge are wonderful! Just one "feature" I would like... I would like the colors used for direct decendants to be different. So, one might be in a distant branch we can easily find the connections to our branch. Would make navigating so much better and following a branch back "home" a snap.
